David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach Hasselhoff was noticeably not herself in the days leading up to her death.
Hiromi Osiecki, who lived across the street from Pamela, told the Daily Mail Thursday that the actress “looked sad” while taking out the garbage two days before she died by suicide.
Although Hiromi and her husband, John Osiecki, weren’t close to her, they said she was typically very “chatty.”
“She would talk to a lot of people when she walked her dogs,” John told the outlet, calling her death “shocking.”
“She didn’t seem like the type of person who would want to kill herself,” he added.
Pamela’s normal, spirited disposition was seen in her final social media upload, in which she gushed about her excitement for the new year.
“As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London 🎀,” she wrote in December 2024, noting that watching the little one “grow and seeing her smile light up [her] world is truly the greatest blessing.”
“My wish for all of you this year is health, happiness, and an abundance of love,” she continued. “May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold. Here’s to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!”
Pamela’s daughter Hayley — whom she shared with David — allegedly found her dead in her Hollywood Hills, Calif. home on Wednesday.
Hiromi, 65, told the outlet that she heard Hayley, 32, going in and out of the house before paramedics arrived around 9 p.m.
“She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street. She was crying, saying ‘I just want to get my car,’” she told the outlet.
“A little later, she came out with police. I heard her crying and somebody was trying to comfort her.”
However, Hiromi “couldn’t see what was going on in the house.”
The couple told the outlet that they recognized Hayley’s Mercedes in the driveway because she used to live with her mother.
They claimed paramedics and police were frequently called to the home while the mother-daughter duo lived together.
The actress reportedly did not leave a suicide note. She was 62.
Hasselhoff, 72, issued a heartbreaking statement following the tragedy.
“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” he posted on social media Thursday.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
The former couple, who were married from 1989 to 2006, share Hayley and daughter Taylor, 34.
