This is the moment a passenger began screaming about ‘the Lord Jesus’ as he was restrained on board a flight to the Canary Islands, startling British tourists.
Footage captured aboard flight LS307 and since posted to TikTok showed a man shouting loudly from his seat as passengers tried to intervene.
‘Get off,’ the man appeared to call out as people gathered around a seat to restrain him.
One person on board was heard reminding the passenger that he is ‘on a plane’ as others tried to calm him down.
‘You have to fasten your seatbelt… in the Lord of Jesus [sic]’ the man shouted before letting out an unsettling scream.
Jet2 crew on the March 1 flight from Belfast to Fuerteventura were praised for going ‘above and beyond’ to deal with the fracas.

One user claimed that her son was one of the men holding the passenger down.
She claimed that her son ended up ‘covered in blood [because] the man split his own head open!’
There was no clear indication what had caused the man to act in such a way.
There was no evidence the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs, despite speculation in local media.
MailOnline approached Jet2 for comment.
Last month, a flight from the Canary Islands to Nottingham was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger died on board.
The plane was diverted to Spain when a man believed to be in his 70s experienced a severe medical emergency and died.

Other passengers appeared to step in to try to help restrain the man during the disturbance
The jet was forced to touchdown at Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport, so emergency services could attend to the individual.
An ambulance was sent to the terminal at the Galician capital, but the man was pronounced dead on arrival.
